We currently run 15 meetups each month with many more planned in 2015. Each of these meetups are run by a BizMums Host.

What are we looking for in a BizMums Host?

Essential Skills

  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Willingness to actively promote BizMums

Desirable Skills

  • Strong established network in your area
  • Confident using Social Media

Responsibilities of a BizMums Host:

  • Promote their meetup on Social Media and in their local area and invite their contacts
  • Organise a speaker to come and talk to the group on the theme of the month at each meetup
  • For new venues the host is to find a suitable venue and liaise with the staff regarding the best day/time for the meetup to be held
  • Be their promptly on the day of the meetup to set up the venue and to meet the guests and speaker
  • Lead the meetup and introduce the speaker
  • Follow up after the event to make sure that everyone attending had a good time and to let them know about the next meetup
